Welcome to our shop!

Honey

Our honey is made right in our backyard by our 30+ hives! Fun fact: our honey comes in a variety of lovely colors depending on the season in which it's harvested. Different plants not only flourish during different times of year, but they also produce different colors of nectar; in this way, our honey has different flavor qualities and intensities throughout the summer and fall! Regardless of when our product is harvested, it is always sweet and perfect for a variety of culinary practices and at-home remedies.

For your perusal: In the spring, bees have access to plants like black locust trees, which create light and delicate honey . The distinctive taste is delicious, sweet, and more refreshing than what you find in the other seasons. It carries floral notes and functions as a great substitute for sugar. In the fall, you can expect bees to visit plants like goldenrods and asters. As a result, the honey produced has a more robust flavor. The color tends to be darker, and the taste is deeper. You may detect notes of mint and butterscotch in fall honey, making it great for cooking.

If you are interested in purchasing our honey, you can contact us via email, call or text us at (717) 968-9359, or visit our apiary at 620 Gutshall Road, Boiling Springs, PA.   You may also find us at local events; check our calendar for up-coming events.

What to do if your honey crystallizes

All honey will crystalize over time. By slowly heating honey, ensuring to keep temperatures under 104 degrees fahrenheit, you can retain the natural health benefits from the enzymes contained within raw honey and bring the honey back to its prior liquid state.  It is not recommended to heat honey in the microwave but rather use a double boiler or simply sit the jar in warm water.
